Thomas 1 bed Apt w/ cathedral views - Stayseekers

Positive: Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet und die Lage ist wirklich super, man ist innerhalb weniger Gehminuten überall in Salisbury und die Stadt ist wunderschön! Die Sauberkeit der Wohnung war okay, wir hatten aber auch schon sauberere Wohnungen in England. Negative: Man kann wegen der direkt an der Wohnung vorbeifahrenden lauten Züge die Fenster kaum öffnen, deswegen war es wirklich warm in der Wohnung. In der Anzeige auf booking war beschrieben, dass kein Parkplatz zur Unterkunft gehört, deswegen habe ich das Team bei der Buchung gefragt, ob sie Empfehlungen zum parken haben. Man hat mir gesagt, dass sie einen eigenen Parkplatz haben, der kostenlos wäre und nur 5 Minuten von der Unterkunft entfernt wäre. Bei den Checkin-Informationen war der Parkplatz nicht mehr erwähnt, auf meine Nachfrage hieß es, man habe doch keinen Parkplatz. Auf meine Email, dass uns ein Parkplatz angeboten worden war, wurde nicht mehr reagiert, was ich etwas schade fand. Wir parkten dann kostenpflichtig auf einem Parkplatz nahe der Unterkunft.

Lovely flat to explore Salisbury Positive: This is a lovely apartment. The location is ideal, just a few steps away from Salisbury train station and a short stroll from the center, the cathedral, and the bus stop for the Stonehenge tour. The apartment has everything you might need and more: a functional kitchen, washing machine, a comfy bed, toiletries. It is on a busy street, but the windows are very well insulated, so there was no noise at all. We spent a week there and we enjoyed every minute. The flat is on the second floor, so you will need to go up the stairs with your bags. Take that into consideration if you have mobility issues. Negative: We actually loved everything!

Good location for visiting Salisbury and further afield Negative: 1. bed mattress was rather too soft for our liking (hence score above) 2. legs of coat hanger rack obstruct the walkway at foot of bed

Feeling literally at home Positive: Location…And ..... clothes dryer, very fast Negative: Noisy washing machine …;-)
